This Soviet cartridge was originally designed for subsonic use in AK style firearms. Many US companies are now offering AR style barrels, uppers, and complete firearms chambered in 9x39. Our brass is built to the CIP standard, and could have headspacing problems if used in firearms designed around non-standardized versions. Due the differences in chamber dimensions, we recommend you contact your barrel manufacturer about compatibility with our brass.
